Troopers: Man crashes into Manchester home while driving at more than twice legal limit

MANCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man is facing DWI charges after New York State Police say he crashed into a Manchester home while driving more than twice the legal limit.

It happened just after 7:34 p.m. on Monday on State Route 96 between King Road and Kendall Street.

Troopers say Christopher Livermore told troopers that he swerved to avoid a deer, and during the interview, they determined that he was drunk. He then failed a series of sobriety tests according to troopers and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Troopers say he blew a BAC of 0.19%.

He’s due back in Town of Manchester Court later this month.
