ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The coronavirus is turning a longtime Rochester neighborhood tour into an outside thing!

This year, the home tour in the city’s historic Maplewood neighborhood kicked off Saturday as an outdoor garden tour.

Traditionally, people in the neighborhood have opened their homes to visitors. This time the neighborhood association did a pivot and formed the first-ever Maplewood Garden Walk.

"I do know gardeners do come from different areas around the state to see other tours that they’ve had. It’ll be interesting to see ya know who comes to see this tour. Like I said, this is our first garden tour," Bill Collins, Maplewood Neighborhood Association said.

The walk showcased beautiful flora in the gardens of nearly two dozen homes.
