ROCHESTER, N.Y. We finally made it to 70 degrees and were warmer than average for the first time in nearly two weeks on Wednesday!
We’ll get one more warmer day on Thursday, with highs into the 70s. But we’ll see an increase in cloud cover as our next area of low pressure approaches.
The cold front sweeps through early Friday morning with scattered showers, followed by temperatures falling through the 50s and settling in the 40s by the late afternoon and evening. Winds will also pick up, so it’ll feel even cooler than the 40s.
The weekend is shaping up to be a pleasant early October weekend, with highs in the lower 50s (and a brisk breeze) on Saturday, and upper 50s to near 60 on Sunday. Both days will feature a mix of clouds and sun and just the slight chance of a lake rain shower on Saturday.
If you’re heading to Orchard Park for the Bills game on Sunday, bring sunglasses and a sweater! Temperatures will likely hold in the 50s under a mix of clouds and sun, and a bit of a breeze once again.
Temperatures will remain a little cooler than average to start next week, before a modest warming trend by mid-week.
