Wegmans dropping employee mask policy

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Wegmans has dropped its employee mask policy.

Wegmans employees will now only be required to wear masks at locations where it is mandated at the state or local level.

The Gates-based grocery chain has locations in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.

This comes after many states and localities have announced they’re dropping their mask mandates, and some of the nation’s largest employers have dropped their employee mask mandates.
