Court docs: Robert Scott Gaddy was prepared to testify against Lovely Warren in campaign finance case
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — New information was revealed Thursday ahead of the sentencing for former lobbyist Robert Scott Gaddy.
Back in September 2020, he took a plea in the bribery case involving former state assemblyman Joe Errigo.
Gaddy pleaded guilty to theft of government money and he was scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, but the judge asked for more information before making a final determination on sentencing and court was adjourned.
According to a letter filed by his attorney, Gaddy was prepared to testify in the campaign finance trial of former mayor Lovely Warren.
Warren pleaded guilty before her trial, but Gaddy’s lawyer is hoping his cooperation in Warren’s investigation will get Gaddy probation instead of jail time.
