Vision Automotive makes donation to ROC Maidan for Ukraine

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — One of the Rochester area’s biggest auto dealers, Vision Automotive, is lending a hand in the Ukraine crisis.

Wednesday afternoon, Vision cut a check to ROC Maidan, a Rochester nonprofit dedicated to sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Vision hosted members of the Ukrainian Cultural Center at the Ridge Road location and set up information on how you can donate at each of its 10 locations.

ROC Maidan’s Shipment and Media Coordinator Solomia Laba told us what donations are needed.

"Anything from baby clothes, masks, everything from first aid and gauze, everything that people are in need of in Ukraine," Laba said.

Local Ukrainian-Americans told us they are grateful for the show of solidarity.
