Illegally possessed gun seized during traffic stop on Avenue A

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A traffic stop for an illegal window tint on Avenue A in Rochester led to troopers seizing a gun from a man who didn’t have it in his possession legally.
New York State Police say they stopped the car at around 2:38 p.m. on Thursday and found a 9mm handgun loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition that Tyrone Webb, 23, of Rochester has in his possession illegally.
He was charged with second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon and taken to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment.
