Repairs begin at Pines of Perinton

PERINTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Repairs have begun at the Pines of Perinton apartments.
According to Town of Perinton Director of Building and Codes Director Greg Sigfred:

-Pines of Perinton Management say repairs on the current list of complaints have started. This list of complaints is expected to be completed by next week.
The town recently cited the apartment complex with eight code violations after a large fire last month drew attention to maintenance issues.
Pines management says it expects the repairs to be done by next week, and that regular visits will happen until the mice problem is corrected.

– Regular visits will happen until the mice problem is corrected. Pest extermination is being handled by a private contractor.
– Town will send Pines Management a compliance order tomorrow which will hold management to their stated deadline of next week.
Those pest problems will be addressed by a private contractor, according to management.
Meantime, the Town of Perinton is taking this seriously and will be holding the management to its deadline of next week, or it will issue an appearance ticket to Town Court.
