Tops presents Grupo Cultural Latinos en Rochester with donation

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Tops is giving back in a big way to some important local organizations.

Thursday, the company gave a $7,000 check to Grupo Cultural Latinos en Rochester. The non-profit serves our local Hispanic communities.

“Our organization is always working on creating different new shows, and we have a lot of free programs, so most of our programs are for kids, toddlers, adults, different groups,” said Pilar Osorio Godoy, president of Grupo Cultural Latinos en Rochester. “And so this money goes toward having new dresses, masks, headsets, just anything we need to provide to our participants a very enriched and entertaining experience.”

Tops officials say today and always they hope to honor the heritage, diversity, and integrity that is embodied by Hispanics in our community.
