Person injured in shooting on Rochester’s northeast side

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — RPD officers responded to Rochester General Hospital just before 9 p.m. on Monday for the report of a walk-in gunshot victim.
The injuries are non-life-threatening and to the lower body.
An investigation occurred and states that the shooting possibly happened on Wendell Street in Rochester.
However, the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
