ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police said the woman who they found dead on Sunday on Ravine Avenue was 35-year-old Tracy Bellanca, who was reported missing earlier.
Bellanca hadn’t been seen since she left her home on Belinda Crescent in Perinton on Friday, driving an SUV. She was reported missing on Sunday at around 3 p.m. and was found dead five hours later.
The Rochester Police Department said that there were no obvious signs of trauma on Bellanca’s body. The cause of death will be determined by the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office.
“We ask you to keep Ms. Bellanca’s friends and family in your heart as they mourn this heartbreaking loss,” said a statement from RPD.
Our crew saw multiple RPD cars and the technician unit when police first responded to the scene. Initially, Ravine Avenue between Maryland Street and Dewey Avenue was blocked off.
