Sienna College Poll: Hochul still leads Zeldin but lead is getting smaller

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Siena College poll released on Tuesday shows that while Gov. Kathy Hochul is still leading Congressman Lee Zeldin in the governor’s race, her lead is getting smaller.
Out of the New Yorkers who were polled, 52% said they planned to vote for Hochul in November, while 41% said they would vote for Zeldin. In September, Hochul’s lead was 54% to 37%.
The race for attorney general is also getting closer, with NYS Attorney General Letitia James leading 51% against Michael Henry who has 40%.
Out of registered Democrats, 84% said they would vote for Hochul. Democrats represent half of the state’s enrolled voters. Out of Republicans, 81% said they would vote for Zeldin.

A poll conducted by the campaign for former Rochester Police Chief La’Ron Singletary shows him trailing his opponent Congressman Joe Morelle by 4 points. According to the poll released on Monday, 43% said they would vote for Morelle, 39% for Singletary, and 18% are undecided.
