Person hit by car on Lyell Avenue near I-390 in Gates Thursday night

GATES, N.Y. (WHEC) — A person has minor injuries after Gates Police Chief Robert Long says a car hit them on Lyell Avenue near I-390 Thursday night.
It happened at around 9:30 p.m., and the whole area was blocked to traffic as crews responded.
Long says the driver was not cited.
