Police: Canandaigua man charged with sex abuse of child

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Canandaigua man is facing charges of third degree sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
The Canandaigua Police Department says the charges stem from an incident that happened on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022. Joshua Quayle, 31, was arrested just before 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police say an order of protection was issued for the victim and Quayle was taken to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
