Rochester City Hall preparing for Valentine’s Day marriages

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Wedding bells were ringing at Rochester City Hall Monday as several couples tied the knot in the atrium for Valentine’s Day.

It’s a yearly tradition and two lucky couples were married by Mayor Malik Evans.

"It’s a special day for me too," Evans said. "I get to see people smile and be happy which is what I like to do. So Valentine’s Day is a special day for them and I’m glad to be part of their very special day."

"I came here for her," Ugur Demir said.

"Yeah he came here for me just followed me because why not? Love!" Cemre Demir said.
