ROCHESTER, N.Y. Many spots felt 70 degree air for the 5th consecutive day on Wednesday before rain showers moved in.
Those showers signal a return to the reality of cooler and more seasonable temperatures for the end of the week. Any showers will end tonight, and we’ll even see some partial clearing in the clouds by morning.
It’ll be a much different feel to Thursday though, with a brisk wind in the morning and temperatures holding in the 40s much of the day. That being said, we should see a good deal of sun returning. Friday will feature highs in the lower 50s with a mix of clouds and sun.
The weekend is shaping up to be another very nice late October weekend, with highs in the lower 60s on both days. Saturday will feature nothing but sunshine, while Sunday will see more clouds ahead of our next system.
If you’re heading out to Orchard Park on Sunday to watch the Bills take on the Packers, the weather won’t be a factor. Temperatures should hold in the lower 50s with a mostly cloudy sky and light wind.
We’re still looking at the possibility of some light showers on Halloween for the Trick or Treaters, but it’ll be a milder Halloween, with daytime temperatures in the 60s falling into the 50s during the evening.
Overall, our milder pattern will continue into the first week of November, with daytime highs a good 5-10 degrees warmer than average, putting us into the 60s for much of next week.
