ROCHESTER, N.Y. Keep those sunglasses handy, as we’re going to see plenty of sun heading into the weekend.
Highs on Thursday struggled to make it out of the 40s, so we certainly had a much different feel to the air compared to recent days. We’ll warm a few degrees into the mid 50s on Friday under a mix of clouds and sun, after starting the morning with some frost on the ground.
Saturday starts the same way – quite chilly, but it’ll be a beautiful day with a blue sky and highs flirting with 60 once again. Sunday will see sun to start, then more clouds begin to fill in by the afternoon and evening. If you’re going to the Bills game on Sunday night, pack a jacket, but that’s about it.
Temperatures should hold in the 50s with neither wind nor rain being a factor. Halloween will remain on the mild side, with daytime highs in the 60s and temperatures dipping into the 50s for Trick or Treating. The one issue that may impact costume choice may be some light scattered showers.
We’ll work through fine-tuning the timing of those showers through the weekend. There continue to be signs of a warm start to November, with daytime highs in the upper 60s, perhaps a few 70s by the end of next week.
