Rochester performers of all abilities put on ‘Willy Wonka’

The iconic story of Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka” is being brought back to life in a unique way through Rochester’s Artists Unlimited, Inc.

The musical theater company showcases a cast of more than 60 performers of all abilities. It will host live performances of “Willy Wonka” over the first weekend of November.

The cast follows Charlie’s adventures through the factory with the company’s use of set design, costumes, lighting, sound and a plethora of well-known songs. The ultimate goal is to highlight individuals’ talents and give musical theater experience to those who may never have had the opportunity.

Attendees can meet cast members after performances, too.
