Man ordered at gunpoint to drive car, then carjacked

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man was ordered at gunpoint to drive his car to a location where he was then told to exit his vehicle and the gunman stole his car.

According to RPD, the incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. Sunday evening.

RPD officers were dispatched to Sheppler Street for the report of a victim who had their car stolen at gunpoint.

The crime occurred at Lake Avenue and Stonewood Avenue where the victim was approached by at least one man with a gun, police said.

The victim was ordered at gunpoint to drive his car to Sheppler Street where he was then told to get out of his car.
