‘Harmonica Pete’ DuPre laid to rest

FAIRPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) — WWII hero and viral sensation "Harmonica Pete" DuPre was laid to rest Wednesday morning.
The funeral was held at the Church of the Assumption in Fairport.
"Harmonica Pete" passed away last Tuesday at the age of 98. His daughter said he went peacefully with his son by his side.
His daughter, Mary Ann DuPre, told News10NBC last week that details about a cemetery celebration and gathering will be shared later.
