Police: Man stabbed on Joesph Avenue, may have life-threatening injuries

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man has what police are describing as potentially life-threatening injuries after a stabbing on Joseph Avenue near Pardee Street Wednesday.

It happened at around 12:45 p.m. inside a store on the 800 block of Joseph Avenue.

Police say they believe the victim, a man in his 30s, was involved in an altercation inside the store before he was stabbed.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by AMR with at least one stab wound to the upper body. Police say the injuries could be life-threatening.

Police don’t have any suspects in custody. They are asking anyone with information to call 911.
