Golden State Warriors are NBA champions

SAN FRANCISCO, C.A. (WHEC) – The celebrations are on in San Francisco. The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in the NBA finals last night in game six to clinch the title.
Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry had 24 points in the 103 to 90 victory. Curry also takes home the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP Award, one of the few trophies that had been absent from his mantle.
“We got four championships! God is great. The ability to be on this stage and play with amazing teammates against a great Boston Celtics team that gave us everything to try to get to the finish line, this one hits different for sure,” said Curry.
It’s the Warriors’ fourth title since 2015.
