More COVID testing resources coming to the Finger Lakes
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — More COVID-19 testing resources are coming to the Finger Lakes.
On Saturday, State Sen. Samra Brouk (D, 55) will host a COVID-19 home testing kit distribution event outside of her district office in Suite B127 at Village Gate Square from 1 a.m. to noon.
There is a limit of one kit per household. The tests will be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis. Her office is encouraging people to register ahead of time.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Friday that starting Jan. 20, the Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) in Canandaigua and the Monroe Community College (MCC) campus in Brighton will host testing sites that will be open from 8:30 a.m. through 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The FLCC testing site will be at 3325 Marvin Sands Rd. and the MCC testing site will be in the Gillman Lounge, Building 3, Rm. 114. Go to 1000 East Henrietta Rd. and use Parking Lot N. Click here to schedule an appointment at the MCC campus.
