ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The first 250 kids vaccinated will receive $100 in gift cards in two increments. Parents and guardians will receive the gift cards.

As Monroe County looks to continue suggesting children in the community get vaccinated, they came up with a nice bonus incentive.

Three new vaccination sites will open starting on January 18 and the first 250 kids to get vaccinated at these locations will receive gift cards. $50 will be given for the first dose, and another $50 for the second dose. A parent or guardian must be present with children ages 5-11.

The new and participating vaccination sites are the following:

  • Jan. 18 (4-7 p.m.) – Mary McLeod Bethune School
  • Jan. 25 (4-7 p.m.) – Roberto Clemente Public School
  • Jan. 27 (4-7 p.m.) – Helen Barrett Montgomery School

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins will be taken as well.
