ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra is postponing its January concerts, citing the University of Rochester’s new COVID protocols.

The RPO announced Monday the shows is in response to the U of R’s decision to postpone special events and limit capacity of indoor gatherings to 10 people.

The RPO says it’s working to reschedule and asks that ticket holders hold onto their purchases for now.

In addition to January concerts, the RPO says the February 4 release of RPO @ Home: Andreas Conducts Beethoven is also postponed.
