ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Institute of Technology is requiring students and staff to get COVID-19 boosters by Monday, Jan. 31, or within 14 days of becoming eligible.
The school says it’s in the process of setting up booster clinics and will share more information when it becomes available.
RIT said it also expects all students, faculty, and staff to get a PCR or Antigen COVID-19 test before returning to campus, regardless of vaccination status.
It’s also introducing The SpiRIT Pass to allow students, faculty, and staff to show proof of vaccination to enter large events, including hockey games, faster.
The spring semester starts on Jan. 10 and RIT says it’s committed to starting in person.
