Shots fired in armed robbery on Jefferson Avenue, victim okay

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Tues. night.

Police say they were flagged down by a 16-year-old boy on Jefferson Ave. while working another shots fired case.

A suspect came up to the boy and forced him onto the ground, stealing his cash and another suspect walked up and fired shots.

The boy was told to and was able to run away. He was not hurt.

No arrests have been made at this time.
