City of Rochester gets over a quarter of a million in water quality grants

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Gov. Hochul announced $23 million in New York state for water quality grants.

Multiple Rochester area cities got these grants, with the City of Rochester getting $335,000 for better technology of its meters. It will work to reduce water loss and increase accuracy.

Seneca Falls got a big grant – $1,285,000 and Batavia received $730,000 – both with the same need for improved meter technology.
