Trump defends COVID vaccine booster

(WHEC) — Former President Donald Trump revealed he got the COVID-19 booster and also backed the effectiveness of it.

Trump said this during an interview with conservative media personality Candace Owens after she had a differing viewpoint about how well the vaccine works.

During his presidency, Trump was able to help implement the COVID vaccines. However, he was against other precautions, such as children wearing masks in school.

"The ones that get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don’t take their vaccine. But it’s still their choice, and if you take the vaccine, you are protected," Trump said.
