ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The man accused of killing two people in Rochester is facing new charges.
Thursday Timothy Brown was indicted on charges of second, and now first degree murder.
Police say he’s connected to the deadly double shooting that happened at an apartment building on Chestnut Street Downtown last month.
The District Attorney’s Office says Brown shot and killed 22-year-old Tywan Harper and 19-year-old Malakai Smith.
Those were the city’s 69th and 70th homicides.
Brown is also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
