VICTOR, N.Y. (WHEC) — Victor Senior High School administrators dealt with a social media threat Monday morning before a lockdown or any other security measures were necessary.

Superintendent Timothy Terranova said as soon as administrators were made aware, they secured the student who posted the threat and got the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department involved.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating, and informed Terranova that it does not believe there are other students involved.

Terranova said this is a good example that if you see something, you should say something. He directed parents and students toward the anonymous tip line online.
