Fleet Feet Rochester named one of the best running stores in the U.S.

ROCHESTER, NY — Fleet Feet Rochester, which has two locations, was named one of the best running stores in the U.S. at the tradeshow The Running Event.

Fleet Feet Rochester said it was among 60 running stores to get the award for 2022, out of 300 nominees and 1200 running stores across the U.S. Fleet Feet has two local locations, the Culver Road Armory and High Street in Victor.

At the tradeshow in Texas, Fleet Feet’s owners accepted an award for Kelly Lanzafame, a store employee who died in March after a battle with cancer. She received The Rising Star Award, given to five people who created a longterm impact on the running industry.

“We appreciate the support and opportunity our customers and vendors have given us to be able to earn this recognition for both the store and Kelly,” said Ellen Brenner-Boutillier, one of Fleet Feet’s owners. “We are so proud of our staff for the work they have done to ensure incredible service for our customers and community amidst a challenging year.”

Part of the considerations for the best running store list is community involvement and local running programs.
