Monroe County Recycling Center gets optical sorting system

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A major upgrade was unveiled at the Monroe County Recycling Center on Friday.
It’s an optical sorting system to replace hand sorting.
The county says no jobs will be eliminated.
The $3.5 million system was paid for by Waste Management.
