Amerks’ Jack Quinn tests positive for mono; likely out through Christmas

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Americans Forward Jack Quinn has tested positive for mononucleosis and likely won’t be with the team through Christmas, head coach Seth Appert said on Monday.

Quinn, the 8th overall pick in the 2020 draft, is the second season of a three-year entry-level contract.

He leads the team with 24 points, which are good for the fourth-most in the AHL. Five of those came in his last two games.
