ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Looking to bring home a furry friend? How about for free?
The City of Rochester Friday announced it will host a one-day, free pet adoption event Saturday morning at the Rochester Animal Services Center on Verona Street.
The city says the adoption fee is being waived for select cats and dogs as part of a partnership with Petco Love.
You’re asked to bring a collar and leash or pet carrier. Masks are required for entry.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
