Police: Parolee accused of attempting to break into Geneva home, threatening person inside

GENEVA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A parolee was arrested Thursday for trying to break into a Geneva home and threatening the person inside back in November.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said 28-year-old Derrell Eldridge broke a window in the process.

He’s now charged with third degree intimidating a witness, second degree attempted burglary and fourth degree criminal mischief.

Deputies say Eldridge is on parole for a previous felony conviction.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail without bail.
