Batavia City School District back to normal after threats deemed not credible

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WHEC) — All activities in the Batavia City School District are cleared to resume on Saturday after all district buildings were closed on Friday over threats were spread over social media.

The Batavia Police Department investigated the threats made and found they were not credible.

Schools are set to reopen on Monday.

The district said there will be an increased police presence on BCSD campuses for all activities this weekend and next week.
