NYC man sentenced to 6 months for accessing 100s of people’s nude photos through Snapchat

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — A New York City man was sentenced to six months in prison for illegally accessing hundreds of people’s nude photos through Snapchat.
Federal prosecutors say 14 of his victims were within the Western District of New York.
David Mondore, 30, accessed the “My Eyes Only” folders of his victim from July 2018 through August of 2020, then saved the photos to his phone, prosecutors say.
His sentencing on charges of accessing a protected computer without authorization and, by means of such conduct, furthering the intended fraud and obtaining anything of value, was announced Wednesday.
