Webster Turkey Trot celebrating 50 years

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Webster Turkey Trot is celebrating 50 years this Thanksgiving.

This year the race is sold out at 3,200 participants.

The race will kick off on Thursday at 10 a.m., but road closures will start at 8:30 a.m.

The following roads will be closed:

  • Lake Rd & Pellet Rd – no access eastbound on Lake
  • Lake Rd & Whiting – no access eastbound on Lake
  • Whiting at Shoemaker – no access northbound on Whiting
  • Holt at Shoemaker – no access northbound on Holt
  • Lake at 250 – no access westbound on Lake
