MCSO: Person found dead along 490 in Chili

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a person was found dead in a ditch on I-490 west Monday afternoon.
The investigation centered on the Union Street overpass after responding to a call just after 11 a.m. Deputies now say this appears to be a medical incident. They believe the person was retrieving items that flew out of the back of a pick-up truck and had a medical event.
The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has reopened the interstate, which had been closed off from Chili Center Coldwater Road to Union Street.
