RPD: Multiple people detained after investigation on Weyl and Bauman streets

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police say they are actively investigating a situation that happened on Rochester’s north side Tuesday.

At around 3 p.m., police responded to a call that someone was armed with a gun on a front porch on Weyl Street near Bauman Street.

As the investigation progressed, police said they needed multiple police resources and multiple people had to be detained.

Investigators could not elaborate any further Tuesday night.
