1 dead, 1 injured after 1-car crash in Genesee County

PAVILION, N.Y. (WHEC) — One person is dead and another is injured but expected to survive after a one-car crash in Genesee County Friday.
It happened at the intersection of Starr Road and Crossman Road in the Town of Pavilion at around 2:30 p.m.
New York State Police say the vehicle was headed south on Starr Road when it hit a utility pole, killing one of the people inside it.
The other occupant was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
