First Alert Weather:Tracking gusty winds for Veterans Day

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)—Sunshine for your Wednesday with temps today in the 50s. Pretty good weather ahead for any outdoor plans today.

Looking ahead to Veterans Day, we’ll have a chilly start in the 30s before a warm front will move through with some clouds and then a gusty wind will bring mild weather into the afternoon and evening. Temps tomorrow will reach the upper 50s and lower 60s. Wind gusts 30-40mph during the afternoon and night.

The Threat Tracker will remain green as winds will likely bring down a lot of leaves but should not be strong enough for any serious tree issues or power outages. Rain will arrive after midnight into early Friday morning. Friday will see decent weather as the rain exits early in the morning and much of the day will be dry in the 50s.

A stronger push of cold air arrives Saturday with numerous showers and eventually a few wet snowflakes at times this weekend with temps in the 30s and 40s.

Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the wind gusts for tomorrow and the timing of the rain to end the week.
