Police: Man stabbed in robbery on Monroe Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police are looking for who stabbed a man early Wednesday morning.

Officers went to the scene at South Goodman Street near Monroe Avenue around 2 a.m. and found the man was stabbed in his upper body. The man said he had also been robbed, and the incident happened on Monroe Avenue.

The stabbing was a part of a violent overnight in Rochester that also saw five teens shot in two separate incidents.

As for the man, he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
