Law enforcement: no credible threats found for Cornell University

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHEC) — After a campus-wide search on Sunday, law enforcement concluded there were no credible threats found and that it is safe to resume all normal activities.

Cornell University sent an emergency alert on Sunday afternoon telling everyone to evacuate and avoid the law school and other academic buildings.

According to the university, police received a call of bombs being placed in the law school, Goldwin Smith Upson Hall and Kennedy Hall.


University officials tell everyone to avoid central campus while a security perimeter has been set up in place.
