New NYS website will help parents with vaccine questions

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — New York State is launching a new website that seeks to answer questions parents will have about the COVID-19 vaccine for their children ages 5-11.

The website, which can be accessed by clicking here, aims to give guidence and additional information regarding parents’ questions about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine for this age group. The site also includes a section for children ages 12-17.

Monroe County will hold a weekend clinic starting Saturday for the 5-11 age group. Appointments must be made and will be held at three separate locations. A fourth location at the Edgerton R-Center will take limited walk-ins on Sunday afternoon. You can see the official times and dates by clicking here.
