Girls flag football will start soon in NY State and Section V

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — New York State is counting down to its first official season of girls flag football.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association held an executive committee meeting on Wednesday. The committee approved a state championship for the sport next year.
We learned 137 teams across the state are committed to competing this spring. Some of those schools are in Section V. Several competed last season.
