ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two men are injured after a shooting on Rauber Street near North Clinton Avenue Wednesday.

Police say they responded to a call that a man had been in the area at around 4:30 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found evidence that someone had been shot. As they began working the scene, police say two men with gunshot wounds arrived at Rochester General Hospital in a personal vehicle.

Their injuries were non-life-threatening, according to police.

Officers say one of the victims was a 41-year-old from Rochester who was shot in the upper body, and the other is a non-city resident who was shot in the midsection.

This was the third shooting in Rochester on Wednesday, with one prompting a lockout at the Aquinas Institute and a deadly shooting on Lamont Place. A fourth shooting happened on Magee Avenue near Dewey Avenue a few hours later; it was also a double shooting.
