Police: Man seriously hurt in shooting on Saint Jacob Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police say a man was seriously hurt after he was shot Saturday morning.

Police went to the scene on Saint Jacob Street, between Hudson Avenue and North Street around 10:30 a.m. When they got there, officers found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, and while the injuries are considered serious, police say he is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made, anyone with information is asked to call 911.
