Wegmans ‘Lights on the Lake’ celebration extended through January

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— A holiday tradition in upstate New York is getting an extension this year.

It’s almost time for the Wegmans "Lights on the Lake" at Onondaga Lake Park in Syracuse. This year, the two-mile long event will go from Nov.15 through Jan.14.

With that extra time, organizers are adding special nights to benefit local charities. This year will be drive-thru only.
